Erik L. Wyse, CRPC®

Co-Founder

 

Erik co-founded WealthStar Advisors in 2010 along with long time friends Jeff Wolf and Scott Stockton.  He began helping families achieve their goals as their advisor in 1997 with American Express Financial Advisors (later Ameriprise) working as both an advisor and advisor coach before going independent in 2010.  Erik is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Pope Fellow with a BBA in Business Administration and focus in Economics.   Erik retired from the Texas Army National Guard / U.S. Army as a Major, Engineer Officer in 2009 with over 20 years of service including multiple combat and peace keeping deployments in addition to State activations for emergency services and border support. He lives in Sunnyvale with his wife Deanna and their son and daughter.  In addition to serving his clients and the WealthStar team, he is active in his church and community serving on boards, coaching and volunteering. He enjoys carpentry, auto restoration and events, RVing, land and livestock management and sharing time with family and friends.

1989 - 2009 - U.S. Army / Texas Army National Guard  - Major, Engineer Officer (retired) - served in Operation Iraqi Freedom III - Baghdad, Iraq (2004-2005), SFOR 7 Task Force Eagle - Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina (1999-2000), Desert Shield and Desert Storm - Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Kuwait (1991)
